A 911 surf call from Houston’s Brazos River is being reported as being made from a Houston area address.
According to an online story, a 911 call from the Brazos Valley in Houston is being recorded by the Houston Police Department as being in the Harris County Courthouse, and is being released as part of the 911 report for Harvey.
But the call is being made on a residential property in Houston’s northwest Houston neighborhood, and not a business or a hotel, the story says.
The 911 call was made from the area of the Harris Court and the Brazo River.
The area has been declared a flood zone, and people are being asked to evacuate.
In a statement, the Houston police department said it has investigated the incident and is working to confirm the source of the report.
The Houston Police department said the Brazoc Valley is currently under a flood advisory.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office is conducting a separate investigation.
