The New York Times article The Automobile Club of America, the world body that represents the auto industry, has decided to cancel its annual conference, the Automotive Technology Association’s (ATA) annual meeting.
The decision is made to save money, and it will be announced at a press conference on Wednesday.
The event will be held in Los Angeles, and the organization is looking for an alternate venue.
The organization says it plans to continue to offer workshops on topics like advanced vehicle technology, fuel efficiency, electric vehicles, fuel cell technology, and autonomous vehicles.
