NYT’s Vin Diesel on ‘Sleepless’ co-star Kate Winslet and his role in ‘A Star Is Born’

It was an unlikely pairing, but actress Kate Winslow and co-stars Vin Diesel and Kate Mara on their latest movie, “Sleeptown.”
“It’s just a really good cast,” Diesel told The Hollywood Reporter.
“I like the fact that the two of us are there.
It’s a really strong cast.”
“Sleeping With the Enemy” star Winslow was recently quoted as saying Diesel was “just the best actor in the world.”
“I think you’ve got to be the best to play that character,” she added.
“You just have to be good.”
“There’s a lot of love and attention to detail and passion that goes into every single part,” said Diesel.
“They’re a true family.”
“When they get together, they’re all like, ‘Let’s just have fun,’ and they’re so focused on it that they just do their job.
That’s what they do.”
“I just think that that’s really important,” he added.
Diesel was previously quoted as telling the New York Times’ Amy Pascal that he was “happy” to play Winslow’s “daddy” and “he’s very much a father figure to her.”
