Report: ‘The Marshall Report’ will not be an annual publication
Posted On July 21, 2021
A reporter from The Marshall Reports was shocked to receive an email from an unknown source telling him the publication would not be publishing the annual “The Marshalls Report” for a decade.
The report, which was originally written in 2010 and was intended to serve as an official summary of the coronavirus epidemic, was meant to be a weekly roundup of what was happening in the country and to provide a baseline for future coverage.
But when The Marshalls Reporter began receiving requests from individuals seeking updates, he decided to run with it.
In an email to The Marshals Reporter, the person who sent the email asked to be identified only as Mr. M. in order to protect his identity.
In a statement to TheMarshallReport.com, the man wrote that his purpose for publishing the report was to provide an update on the outbreak and provide the public with a baseline to look at.
The man said he contacted The Marshalling Reporter in April to provide updates on the coronavalirus situation in the state, which has been in a “state of emergency” for the past six weeks.
He added that he wanted to be as accurate as possible, but noted that his organization has a long history of publishing inaccurate and incomplete information.
“The Marshalling Reports report is an annual summary of what is happening in Michigan and it is a very important part of our reporting,” he wrote.
“But we cannot continue publishing this report indefinitely because it is the right thing to do for the people of Michigan and for all Michigan residents.”
The Marshals Report was originally intended to be an official summation of the state’s coronaviruses, but after receiving several requests for updates, the editor asked for the report to be released in a single annual publication.
