The Eagles are paying Wentz $10 million annually over the next five years, which is $2.9 million less than he was getting under his current contract.
“I feel really good, really good,” Wentz said of his ankle injury.
“Obviously, the way I feel right now, I think I could be out for a couple weeks.”
Wentz missed most of the preseason because of a strained ankle.
After missing the first two weeks of the season because of the injury, Wentz went on to make his debut against the New York Jets on Sept. 11 and led the Eagles to a win.
“Obviously, that was one of the best games of my career,” Wenttsaid.
We had to go back to practice, and we got a good start, and I felt like we could have put some more pressure on them. “
We played really well and we won the game.
Wenttsubsequent injuries were to his left ankle, right knee and right wrist. “

“It’s good to be back,” Wentson added.
“It’s a blessing.
This is my team, my teammates, and my friends.
I’m very blessed to be able to be here.
I love being here.”

He didn’t have any setbacks, and said he feels 100 percent.
He’s really excited to get out there.
