The Pittsburgh Steelers have a rookie linebacker, DeAngelo “Dez” Williams, who’s recovering from a concussion.
Williams, who had surgery last week to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, is expected to miss the Steelers’ first preseason game against the Carolina Panthers on Sept. 14.
Williams was limited to a team-high five snaps on the day.
He was listed as day-to-day.
The Steelers are counting on Williams to be a difference maker on the defensive side of the ball.
He had 10 tackles and one sack in 16 games with the Bengals.
The 29-year-old Williams had surgery on a torn ACL in his left knee on Oct. 6.
